As I was standing in line to get on the bus, I turned back and waved one last time at my family before getting on the bus.
I had no clue what was ahead of me, but I was about to find out.

Excerpt #1 from "The Maine Dares"
Chapter One
Traveling to Maine
"Where are my pants?" I murmured to myself. I was furiously rummaging through various piles of clothing around my room. I was about to get on a bus for a several-hour-long ride to the coast of Maine and was desperately searching for my most comfortable pair of jeans, which had obviously picked the most inopportune moment to disappear."

Two More Days!
The NaNoWriMo challenge officially begins in two more days, and then I will start writing The Maine Dares. Hopefully I will remember to post excerpts from the story as I go.
At this point, I don't know quite where Celia's story is going, it will be an adventure for all concerned! I hope you'll come along for the ride!
God Bless,
Lizzie

Introduction
I am participating in the NaNoWriMo challenge, and have decided that when it is done, my novel is finished and edited, that I am going to publish it, so I've decided to start promoting it now.
Here is a brief synopsis of the story:
Here is a brief synopsis of the story:
When Celia's grandmother invites to her to come stay with her at her cottage in Lincolnville ME, Celia grumbles at the prospect of living in the middle of the woods for an undetermined amount of time, but at her parents urging, she grudgingly agrees to go. Celia's grandmother encourages her to find the beauty and laughter in her stay in Maine and every morning leaves a new dare or challenge for Celia to complete either that day or over the course of several days in order to help her see, that just because it's not New York City, doesn't mean Maine's not a special place.
Stay tuned for more about the story and for excerpts!!
God bless,
Lizzie
